Finley MacCool - Maltese Dog for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Friendly Finley is a big goofball in a small fluffy body. He’s never met a stranger or a bad day. He may not be the sharpest crayon in the box but he is certainly the happiest!

He is a velcro dog who loves people and loves toys almost as much. You’ll rarely see him when he’s not toting a toy in his mouth. He’s not bothered by his many canine foster siblings, but would much rather hang out with his people.

When he was rescued, he had some hind-end mobility issues related to nerve inflammation which have significantly improved with gentle physical therapy. He’ll always walk a little funny, but we think that just adds to his charm! Consequently, though, he can be unstable on his feet at times and has a weak bladder, so belly bands are advisable.

Finley can find happiness anywhere but would do best in a home without a lot of stairs or toddlers. He’s made it through heartworm treatment and is now just waiting for a home that will welcome all the love and joy he has to give!

Finley is available for local adoption only in Houston TX. Apply today to meet this friendly boy!
