Jake - Maltese Dog for Adoption in Fort Bragg, California

Jake is a sweet, easygoing senior pup who LOVES people and gets along fabulously with other dogs (he is currently fostered in a home w/2 other Maltys). He bonds quickly with his person and thrives on affection and quickly learns boundaries set for him. He walks well on a leash, enjoys going for walks and is easy to redirect. Hes also great with children and shows his gentle side when interacting with them. Jake is generally a quiet dog and not much of a barker. He may experience some separation anxiety and cry when first left alone, but seems to be improving in his foster home. He gets along well with other dogs, walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and appears to be fully potty trained. Due to the previous neglect hes endured, he has had to have a number of his teeth pulled and should probably remain on soft food.

He would thrive in a home where he can spend plenty of time with his family and will make a wonderful addition to a lucky household. Anyone looking for a loyal little buddy?
