Andi is a 4-year-old male Maltese mix with the sweetest personality you'll ever find. He's looking for his Furever Home!

He's the perfect blend of playful and cuddly — ready to zoom around the yard with you one moment and curl up on the couch the next.

Andi's journey hasn't been without hardship. His last 'mom' was unable to care for him and his brother due to medical issues of her own. Andi and his brother fell into a state of terrible neglect.

You, and your groomer, get to use your imagination. Andi had quite a few mats when he came us, he had to be shaved down. He's going to be gorgeous when that coat grows out a little more!!! His legs look a tad short in this photo, but we have been told he is full Maltese.

Thanks to a loving and patient foster, he has begun to experience the things normal dogs take for granted... exploring the yard, playing with toys, and showing the world just how much love he has to give. His resilience is truly something special. Although hesitant at first, as he's still learning how to trust, he learns quickly with patience and encouragement.

Andi loves people of all ages (including kids) and gets along great with small dogs (he's never been around a large dog) and has no interest in cats. He has excellent recall, and is fully potty trained. The only small activity he hasn't mastered is walking on a leash as he's never been walked his entire life.

* Andi is in Northern California near Sacramento. We do not ship our dogs and adopters will need to be within a 4-hour driving distance from our dogs.
