Cody and Alan are brothers from the same litter, and it shows. These two move through the world in sync, side by side, doing just about everything together. As Seniors in Training (SITs), they're on their way to becoming the devoted, settled companions they were always meant to be - they just need the right home to get there.

They came to us when their mom, who loved them dearly, could no longer care for them. At 4-5 years old and about 15 lbs each, they're full of energy and affection, and they've already made so much progress in foster care.

Alan is the bold one; you'll find him perched on the back of the couch surveying his kingdom, and he will absolutely insist on sleeping in bed with you. Cody is gentler and more reserved, but don't let that fool you, he's often the first to approach a stranger once he feels safe. Watch them together and you'll catch them moving in tandem, checking in on each other, never too far apart.

Cody and Alan are potty trained, leash trained (they learned from scratch in foster and are now total pros who love their walks!), good with other dogs, and great with kids. They are treat motivated and pick up on things quickly.

They didn't get much socialization early on, so they can be reserved with new people at first, but they warm up! They'll need a patient family who will give them time to adjust to a new environment. As maltese mixes, they'll also need regular grooming, which is new for them, so positive reinforcement and patience will go a long way.

Both boys are recently neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and in good health at about 15 lbs each.

Cody and Alan are looking for a patient, loving home that will let them settle in at their own pace. They're smart, in sync, and utterly devoted to each other - and soon, to you.
