Zuky - Maltese Dog for Adoption in Corvallis, Oregon

Hi, I'm Zuky! I'm a 13-year-old Maltese girl weighing about 8 pounds, and I'm looking for a loving home along with my sister, Sky. Sky and I are sisters from the same parents but different litters, and we've spent our lives together. We are a bonded pair, so finding a home where we can stay together would be wonderful.

I've been with my family since I was just 8 weeks old, so this is a big change for all of us. I'm being rehomed because my family's grandbaby is allergic to dogs and cats-not because of anything I've done. I've been very loved, and my family wants that to continue in my next home.

I'm a chill, somewhat shy little lady who is friendly with people once we meet. I've lived with other dogs, cats, and young children, and I've done well with everyone. I'm gentle and friendly around children and get along nicely with both dogs and cats. I'm also housetrained, crate trained, and leash trained. I walk nicely on a loose leash, ride well in the car, and even know how to sit and give you my paw!

For 13, I'm still getting around well and can climb stairs without assistance. I enjoy going for walks and trips to the dog park, especially when Sky is by my side. I'm not particularly protective of toys, food, or other things, and there really isn't much that frightens me. I am having my teeth cleaned on 10/12 and they are in bad shape so I will likely loose quite a few but will have that behind me when you take me home!!!

My ideal home doesn't need to be fancy-I just need people who will love and care for me. A fenced yard is required, and I'd especially love a family willing to open their hearts to both me and Sky. After all these years together, staying with my sister would make our next chapter even sweeter.
