Mr. Howell is a really sweet, soft, perfect-sized dog (20 lbs), with grey-brown coloring and an adorable heart shaped patch of white fur on his chest. He's youthful and playful, but has a chill, low-maintenance personality. He loves toys and is happy to play with his person or entertain himself.
He has done very well with female fosters -- coming out of his shell, playing and showing affection. However, men in the household (and our male staff members) still frighten him weeks or even months later. This special boy needs an all female household, preferably with another dog. He needs plenty of time to adjust and lots of help to build his confidence. He will reward your patience with endless love.
