DESCRIPTION
Meet Floof - your future best friend with a name as cute as he is!
Floof is a happy, friendly puppy who has never met a stranger. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and especially adores kids-seriously, they're his favorite people in the world! If you've got little ones at home, Floof will be right in the middle of the fun, ready to play, chase toys, and soak up all the attention.
This sweet boy is great with cats and has an easygoing, low-maintenance personality that makes him a joy to have around. He settles nicely in his crate and sleeps through the night like a champ. Floof loves spending time in the backyard, where he feels safe and confident, though he's still building courage for walks beyond the yard.
Like any puppy, Floof is still working on potty training and will need a patient adopter committed to helping him learn. With consistency and encouragement, he'll get there!
If you're looking for a playful, loving companion-especially one who will bond closely with your kids-Floof might just be your perfect match.
All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
ABOUT: MALTESE DOG BREED
The Maltese is a small toy breed known for its glamorous white coat, which is long, silky, and virtually hypoallergenic. They are gentle, affectionate companion dogs that thrive on human companionship and make wonderful family pets. Maltese dogs are playful, intelligent, and alert, with a confident demeanor despite their small size. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and are suitable for apartment living due to their size and adaptability.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
