Lizzie came to us from Lakeshore Humane Society, after being surrendered with her siblings. She's been a sweet girl, and is learning her way. Her foster shared:
"Lizzie is a pup who is adventurous in her comfort areas but does take time to gain her bravery in new situations and with new people. She's very curious and takes strides to get confident, but does look for her comfort person when she is overwhelmed. Small children make her nervous until they sit down and allow her to come at her own pace. She was the runt of the litter and would get picked on at times, but would also start rough play that she was not able to finish."
Lizzie will do best in a home committed to continuing her basic training and socialization, so she can grow into a well-rounded adult dog. If you think Lizzie might be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application!
All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-dogs
