OUT-OF-TOWN Dogs with NDR refer to dogs we have saved that have yet to make their journey to Ontario. These dogs are currently in our care with the help of our partners in the area. These dogs will all travel to the Niagara Region once an appropriate adopter or local foster is found.

Foster insights/story:
Molly Girl is what happens when you take pure joy, sprinkle in a whole lot of personality, and wrap it up in a tiny, fluffy body. From the moment she arrived, it was clear — this girl was meant to live life out loud.

She didn’t come from an easy start. Found as a severely matted stray, Molly Girl must have been so uncomfortable and neglected… but you would never know it now. The transformation has been incredible. The second she felt safe, it’s like she made a decision — she was going to be happy, no matter what her past looked like

And happy is exactly what she is.

Molly Girl can take a little while to warm up to new people, preferring to observe from a distance at first. But give her a bit of patience and kindness, and once you're "in", you're in - she becomes incredibly affectionate, loyal, and eager for your attention.

Molly Girl thrives on that connection. She loves her people (with a special soft spot for the men in her life), and she’ll make sure you never forget she’s there — whether it’s dropping a toy at your feet, zooming around the yard, or patiently waiting by the fridge for her favorite treat… an ice cube.

She is smart — really smart. She figured out the dog door faster than any foster before her and now comes and goes like she owns the place, often choosing to spend her days outside soaking up the world around her. A yard isn’t just a bonus for Molly Girl — it’s her happy place.

She’s playful and a little mischievous too. Stuffed toys don’t stand a chance (she loves them… just very enthusiastically), and if something is left too close to the counter’s edge, Molly Girl might just help you “redecorate.” But through it all, she’s never destructive where it counts — just a curious, clever girl learning boundaries.

And when the day winds down? That high-energy pup melts into the sweetest little cuddle bug. Once she’s burned off her zoomies, all she wants is a warm lap, a cozy spot, and her people close by.

Molly Girl is looking for a home that understands her spirit — one that will embrace her energy, laugh at her antics, continue guiding her, and love her for the bright, affectionate, slightly cheeky little dog she is.

They thrive on human interaction and love to be the center of attention, making them excellent therapy dogs.
