Brownie came to us as an owner surrender alongside his whole family, and like the rest of his family, he’s trying to make sense of how his life suddenly changed. Being in a shelter environment can be overwhelming, and Brownie is understandably nervous and unsure right now.

Even with everything he’s been through, Brownie is a sweet boy who is ready for a fresh start. He’ll need some time, patience, and understanding as he adjusts to a new home and learns that he is finally safe. We believe that with a little time and a lot of love, Brownie will show just how special he really is.

Brownie does well with other dogs and loves people. Because of his breed and coat, his new family will need to be committed to regular brushing at home and keeping up with professional grooming appointments. Proper coat care is an important part of keeping Brownie comfortable, healthy, and looking his best.

Brownie is ready to leave the uncertainty behind and find a family who will give him the stability, love, grooming care, and forever home he deserves.
