It doesn’t get much sweeter than that!

Nicky’s story began when she was found in a ditch at just 6 months old, but you’d never guess it from her happy, loving personality. She’s come so far and is now ready to find the forever home she deserves.

Nicky is up to date on her vaccines and spayed, and she’s learning all the good dog skills. She rides great in the car, is crate trained, and walks and runs nicely on a leash. She’s always ready for an adventure—or a cozy cuddle session afterward.

This curious girl loves bird watching, playing with her toys, and having fun. She has a calm, playful personality and even has the cutest little playful growl during tug-of-war, which just shows how much fun she’s having.

Like many young pups, Nicky loves to chew, so she’ll do best in a home that keeps her stocked with good chew toys. She also does best on decent-quality dog food, as lower-quality foods can upset her tummy.

When she sees other dogs on a leash, Nicky gets excited and wants to play. While she hasn’t shown any aggressive behavior, her interactions with other dogs and cats are still being learned, so slow introductions would be best.
