Some puppies are born into warm homes, soft beds, and loving arms.
And some puppies have to fight for the chance to have those things.
Bonnie Blue is one of those puppies.
This sweet little girl was found dumped, covered in fleas and ticks, and suffering from ringworm. She needed medical care, but the rural shelter that took her in simply did not have the resources to provide the treatment she needed. Because of that, Bonnie Blue was automatically placed on the euthanasia list.
Not because she was mean.
Not because she was sick beyond saving.
Not because there was anything wrong with her.
She just needed someone to say YES.
Thankfully, an amazing human who volunteers with the shelter saw Bonnie Blue and refused to let her story end there. She reached out and asked if Fairy Dogmother Rescue would help this little girl.
We said YES.
And that one little word changed Bonnie Blue's entire life.
She received the medical treatment she desperately needed, and today you would never know this happy, silly puppy was once on a euthanasia list. Bonnie Blue has been living her absolute best life in her foster home, and now she is ready for the next chapter—the one where she gets a family of her very own.
This girl plays until she literally drops. She loves to snuggle, follow her favorite humans everywhere, play some more, and soak up every bit of love that comes her way.
And there is something incredibly special about watching a puppy who was once discarded discover that humans can be kind.
Bonnie Blue is still just a baby, which means she is ready to become whatever you want her to be—your adventure buddy, your couch snuggler, your kids' best friend, your shotgun rider, or the little shadow who follows you from room to room because being close to her humans is her favorite place to be.
Bonnie Blue will be spayed soon, will finish her puppy vaccinations, and will be microchipped and move-in ready.
