HONDA: A SWEET, TENDER SOUL DESPITE EVERYTHING

Honda came to us from a terrible cruelty situation. For legal reasons, I can't share the details, but I can tell you that this little girl has endured far more than any dog ever should.

And somehow, despite everything, she is still so incredibly sweet, gentle, and trusting. Dogs never cease to amaze me with their resilience. We truly don't deserve them.

Honda is a little shy with new people, but give her some gentle pets and sweet talk, and she warms up quickly. She's wonderful with other dogs, polite, respectful, and easygoing. She's mostly calm and well-mannered, with occasional adorable bursts of playfulness. She loves sitting in the sunshine, soaking up the warmth.

She waits to potty outside and is naturally so well-behaved. She does tug on leash and could use some basic manners and command training, things she was never given the opportunity to learn. But honestly, she's already such a pleasure to be around. She is naturally so well mannered.

And here's the cutest thing! When you rub her little cheeks, she breaks into the biggest, goofiest toothy grin and makes these adorable little piggy noises! It's absolutely precious!

What gets me most about Honda is how trusting she remains. After everything humans have put her through, she still wants our affection. She still believes in us.

Honda doesn't need much. Just a gentle hand, a little patience, some sunshine, and someone who will finally give her the love and security she's always deserved.
