🇺🇸
West Peoria, Illinois
July 23rd
male, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
Finn is a six month old, 30 pound bundle of joy. He's shy at first but quickly warms up. He's never met a person or a dog he doesn't like. He loves playing with his furry foster sister. Finn is potty trained, of course he's still a puppy so will need continued direction and positive reinforcement. He's crate trained, sleeps through the night and has never soiled his crate. He drools excessively on car rides, but hopefully will outgrow that. We aren't sure of his breed, possibly a labrador mix and will be 45-55 pounds when grown.
Finn is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines, and is on flea and heartworm preventions. His adoption fee is $300, please apply at gfrpets.org/apply.
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
