Buddy - Labrador Retriever and Pointer Dog for Adoption in West Milford, New Jersey

Come meet this boy Buddy who has energy to share! He's 6 yrs old and was released to us from a rescue recently that closed. They had only great things to say avbout him... He came to us with Rosco, the two get along great, but they do not need to be adopted together. Buddy could use a guiding hand to learn basic commands and would do best in an active home who will show him guidance. He can be adopted to a family with kids 12+ yrs old. A good boy! If you'd like, we do offer a free training session with Canine Cooperative once adopted, just ask!

Stop by to fill out an adoption application and spend as much time as you like with our dogs. Please call your veterinarian to permit them to speak with us for our vet check. If you rent, bring proof (lease/contract) that you are allowed to have a dog.

IF you have a dog, the two dogs need to have a meet-and-greet at the shelter to make sure they're compatible.

Our adoption fee is $150 for dogs. This includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm and Lyme testing, deworming, and flea/tick prevention.
