When Coconut and his brother first arrived in foster care, they were heartbreakingly dirty and absolutely covered in fleas. Despite such a rough start, Coconut has quickly learned what it means to feel safe, loved, and cared for.

This sweet boy is happiest close to his people. Whether he's sitting at your feet while you cook dinner, curling up beside you on the couch for a movie, or happily chewing on a squeaky toy nearby, Coconut simply loves being together.

He's naturally a little shy and sensitive. If he thinks he's done something wrong, like having an accident in the house, he'll often tuck himself under the kitchen table or ottoman. But a few kind words, gentle pets, and a tasty treat quickly remind him that he's safe. Every day, his confidence grows a little more.

Coconut thrives with patient, calm humans who understand that some dogs just need a little extra reassurance. He responds beautifully to soft voices, positive reinforcement, and lots of love, and it's incredibly rewarding to watch him come out of his shell.
