Hi there! I’m Frankie, and I have a little secret to tell you... I may be an older gentleman, but I’m definitely not ready to slow down! ❤ï ̧

People tell me I have the sweetest eyes, and I think they’re right. I’m a gentle, loving guy with a big heart, and what makes me happiest is simply being around my people. I absolutely LOVE people and am always excited when they come home. Visitors? Even better! I’m happy to greet new friends and make everyone feel welcome.

I’m also a pretty fun guy! I still have plenty of pep in my step and love to play, run around, and show off my special talent—catching a ball right out of the air! I’m surprisingly agile and always up for a little fun and adventure. When playtime is over, though, I’m perfectly happy to settle down and enjoy some quiet time.

And boy, do I know how to enjoy the good life! Give me a cozy blanket and a soft pillow, and I’m one happy boy. I don’t need to follow you around the house every second. I’m perfectly content relaxing nearby as long as I can keep my people in sight. And when it’s time to watch TV, I’m more than happy to curl up beside you and be your cuddle buddy. ❤ï ̧ I love my people but also enjoy the company of other dogs, so a fur friend woud be fun to have in my forever home.

I’m a pretty polite guy, too. I take treats very gently, I know how to sit, and I patiently wait for my meals. I’m also a total gentleman in the car. Just open the door, and I’ll hop right in, settle into my spot, and enjoy the ride.

My forever person. Someone who will appreciate all the wonderful things that come with an older dog—a loyal heart, a sweet soul, good manners, plenty of personality, and a whole lot of love still to give.

I still have so much living to do... more balls to catch, places to explore, blankets to snuggle under, TV shows to watch, and people to love.
