Twinkle is a 1-year-old Lab mix who may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and you'll quickly see the sparkle in her personality. She's sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to the people she trusts. Once she feels comfortable, this gentle girl is more than happy to soak up attention and remind you just how special a quiet, loving dog can be.

She's friendly with both people and other dogs, and she walks beautifully on a leash--making her an excellent companion for neighborhood strolls, adventures, or just wandering around together while she takes in the world. Twinkle also has a strong drive to please and makes wonderful eye contact, which makes her especially engaging to work with and gives her lots of potential for continued training. She can be timid in new situations, but she has a soft, kind nature and just needs someone willing to let her confidence grow at her own pace.

Twinkle has already been an amazing mama, raising a litter of puppies who have all found homes of their own. Now it's finally her turn to shine. She watched all of her babies head off to their happily-ever-afters, and somehow this little star was left waiting behind.
