This handsome boy is Whiskey.

Whiskey is around 5 years old and finds himself looking for a new home through no fault of his own. His current owner is a medical student who has realized he simply doesn’t have the time or resources to give Whiskey the life he deserves.

We want so badly to keep Whiskey out of the shelter system. He is such a sweet, loving boy who deserves the world — and we truly believe his perfect family is out there.

Whiskey is great with people, great with other dogs, potty trained, healthy, and incredibly smart. We believe he is a Lab/Shepherd mix, and you can see just how much potential this boy has.

His family has described him as struggling with separation anxiety, but we believe a lot of this comes down to not having had the structure, exercise, and training he needs. He is a smart, active boy who needs consistency, patience, mental stimulation, and plenty of exercise. He will need someone willing to work with him and teach him that being alone is okay.
