Vida is a 2 to 3 year old survivor who is finally ready to find the family she has always deserved.

When we first met Vida, we were simply called out to have her spayed. But when we arrived, it was clear she needed so much more. She was skin and bones, covered in ticks and fleas, and suffering from severe wounds, blood loss, and maggots. Her ear was badly injured and she had a hole in her neck.

Vida had also already endured litter after litter of puppies, many of whom were tragically killed by cars or died on the road.

But Vida survived.

Now, that chapter of her life is behind her. No more struggling to survive. No more wondering where her next meal will come from. Vida deserves a soft bed, a full belly, gentle hands, and a family who will show her just how good life can be.
