Hello, my name is Dean, and I was named after Carl Dean, the husband of the legendary Dolly Parton!

I’m a smart, affectionate puppy who is learning quickly and making wonderful progress with potty training. I love playing with toys, cuddling, and being held—there’s nothing I enjoy more than feeling safe and loved in someone’s arms.

When I was just 10 weeks old, I was rescued from death row at a large animal shelter because it was over capacity. Thankfully, my foster mom saw the urgent post and stepped in just in time to save my life. Because of her, I now have the chance to find the loving family I’ve always deserved.
