I am Cheri, and I am coming to you scared and alone.

I have been trying so hard to be brave since losing my home. Every day I wait quietly, hoping someone will notice me, but I am tucked away in the back kennels where its easy to be overlooked.

I am a medium-sized girl, but right now I feel very small. I can be shy at first, yet underneath my timid heart is a dog who just wants to feel safe, loved, and cherished. With patience and kindness, I know I could truly blossom in a home of my own.

I came to the shelter with two former canine housemates, but we didnt get along, so I am hoping to find a home where I can be your one and only. A calm place where I can finally exhale and know that I belong.

I am told my time here is running out, and that thought is terrifying. I dont want my story to end in a shelter kennel. I want to know what it feels like to curl up in a soft bed, to be comforted when Im afraid, and to be loved for the rest of my life.

Will you give me that chance?

Dogs are being turned in higher numbers than the shelter can accommodate, therefore many are losing their lives due to lack of cage space. We are helping get the word out of their immediate need.
