Meet Mocha—Independent Girl, Secret Sweetheart

Mocha is a curious little lady who likes to take her time figuring out the world—and the people in it. She can be shy and timid at first, but give her some space and you’ll start seeing the sweet, silly girl underneath.

Mocha has an independent streak and is perfectly happy doing her own thing, but she’ll regularly swing by for a little petting before heading off to continue her investigations. Think of it as an affection pit stop.

She’s an easy walking companion and has discovered the joy of stuffies. Her preferred technique? Grab one, toss it dramatically into the air, fling it around, repeat. Who needs fetch when you can entertain yourself?

And then there’s Mocha’s romantic side. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll stand up, put her paws on your shoulders, and stare lovingly into your eyes like you’re the only person in the world.

Mocha may make you earn her trust, but getting to know this quirky, tender girl is absolutely worth it.

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
