Meet Darrell, a handsome 9-year-old Chocolate Lab mix with a heart of gold. This sweet gentleman has spent far too much of his life being passed from home to home, never getting the forever he deserves. Despite all that change, one thing hasn't changed: Darrell absolutely loves people.

At 9, Darrell has mastered the art of enjoying the good stuff in life. He loves:

Exploring the yard and watching the birds
Chasing butterflies
Splashing his paws in the water
Heading out for an adventure
Following it all up with a well-earned nap
Curling up beside his people at the end of the day

And don't let that 9-year-old label fool you! Darrell still has plenty of pep in his step and would love a family who will include him in their adventures and then share the couch afterward.

Darrell would do best in a calmer home without very young children. More than anything, we want his next move to be his LAST. He deserves to finally know what it feels like to have a home and people who are truly his forever.

His adoption fee includes neuter, microchip, UTD vaccines, heartworm test, and current vet check.
