BACKGROUND: Oliver is, quite literally, the best. This chocolate lab is friends with everyone he meets and approaches life with the sweetest, goofiest spirit imaginable. He loves people, loves attention, loves snacks, loves other dogs, honestly, he just loves everything. When Oliver came to MARL, he was blind and uncomfortable in one eye. After removing it, he’s feeling so much better and has been thriving ever since. His remaining eye may need future surgical intervention, and we would love for him to continue recovering in the comfort of a forever home surrounded by love. Despite everything he’s been through, Oliver remains endlessly happy, affectionate, and full of charm. He’s the kind of dog who makes every day brighter just by being in it. COMPATIBILITY: Based on our evaluation, we feel that Oliver has the potential to get along with other dogs and cats.

MEDICAL NEEDS: Oliver currently retains some vision in his remaining eye, though his vision may deteriorate over time. Additional surgical intervention may be recommended once his surgical site has fully healed and based on ongoing evaluation by our veterinary team. If further surgery is deemed medically necessary by our veterinarian, MARL will cover the cost of the procedure.
