Meet Spirit — a shiny black bundle of puppy energy with soulful brown eyes that will absolutely melt your heart. Born around April 10, 2026, she's already got that classic Lab-mix curiosity: nose in everything, tail always wagging, ready to make a new best friend the second she meets you.

Spirit is still working on all the puppy basics — house training, leash manners, and learning that shoes are not, in fact, chew toys — but she's smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, which makes her a joy to start training. She's growing fast and is expected to be a medium-to-large dog once fully grown, with that classic Lab build already showing in her paws and frame.

Like a lot of our pups here at Jack Jack's Pack, Spirit came to us as one of the forgotten dogs of Central Texas — but her story's already turning around. Thanks to a foster who's been giving her love, structure, and plenty of belly rubs, she's happy, healthy, and ready for the next chapter: a family of her own.

Spirit would do best with a family who has a little time and patience for puppyhood — she's got all the energy and enthusiasm you'd expect from a growing pup, and she'll thrive with consistent training, playtime, and a soft place to land at the end of the day.

Once your application has been approved, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a phone interview and a meet-and-greet. This process can take up to 10 days as we are volunteer run.
