What we know: Litter of 5 (4F, 1M) transferred from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada in Texas at approximately 4 months old. Litter came in as an owner surrender, no further information is known.
From the foster: Our little Mason man is the perfect blend of just a bit mischievous and yet so eager to please. He has this face, maybe it's the ears, maybe it's the eyes, but it just draws you right in and hooks you until next thing you know, you've been immobilized for an hour because he's snoring soundly on your lap. Mason is a puppy-shaped love sponge and he is here to steal your heart, snacks, and maybe the occasional shoe. He is fostered with kids (ages 4 & 7) and does well with them as long as they don't startle him - slow and steady has been working great for him. As far as other dogs, he is fostered with two littermates and three large resident dogs and has been respectful and playful with everyone. He sleeps in a crate at night with his sisters from about 10pm to 6am, and except for an occasional midnight hour tinkle on his potty pad/newspaper, is great about holding it to go outside.
Mason has a lovely medium energy and is the smallest of the three siblings we are fostering, so I'd anticipate him being a medium to large sized dog when full grown. The shelter he was left at guessed shepherd/lab mixes but it's really a complete mystery so we just call them the "Texas specials" for now. There is no couch or chair safe from this dude, he will not hesitate to hop up and make himself at home next to you for a good cuddle and snooze. We can really see him blending in just about any home environment that has the time and dedication to proper puppy training, socialization, and playtime. If you are ready to surrender all personal space to a master cuddler, then he is ready to complete your family!
