Reecee - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Meet Reecee!

Reecee is a gorgeous red and white Lab mix, approximately 1.5 years old, with a sweet personality, a little sass, and a whole lot of love to give!

Reecee and her brother, Richee, were found as strays on the side of the road. Thankfully, their story didn't end there, and this beautiful girl is now ready to find her forever family!

Reecee is a total daddy's girl! She seems to have a preference for the men in her life, but don't worry, ladies! Once she has a little time to warm up to you, she'll happily welcome you into her circle, too. She's a little shy around strangers at first, but a few tasty treats seem to be the way to her heart. And can you really blame her? Snacks make friends out of all of us!

Much like her brother, Reecee is a TALKER! She has plenty to say and isn't afraid to share her opinions. She's crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is making wonderful progress with house training. She's not quite 100% there yet, but she's trying her best and doing SO good!

Now, we do need to talk about one little thing: Reecee is an escape artist! This clever girl has a knack for finding her way out, so a secure 6-foot fence is required, or she'll need daily leash walks for exercise and potty breaks. She's also not chicken-friendly, so a farm with feathered friends is definitely not the right fit for this girl!

The good news? Reecee is great with other dogs and even cats! She's also been around children ages 2 and 6 and has been doing wonderfully with both. Toys? Loves them. Treats? Absolutely. Attention? Once she knows you, she's all in!

Reecee is heartworm negative and ready to start her next chapter with a family of her very own. If you're looking for a beautiful, slightly sassy, treat-loving girl who will keep you entertained with her conversations and fill your home with love, Reecee might just be your girl!
