Meet Henry – A Handsome Little Gentleman with a Heart of Gold!
Henry may have had a heartbreaking beginning, but this sweet little boy hasn't let his past keep him from loving life — or loving everyone he meets!
Henry and his two sisters, Heaven and Hope, were discovered by the cleaning staff of an office building. These three tiny puppies had been left all alone in an office with no food, no water, and no one to care for them. They were so young that they should have still been nursing from their mama!
After an entire day passed and no one returned for them, the puppies were taken to a local animal shelter.
Unfortunately, these babies were far too young and vulnerable for a shelter environment. They hadn't even learned how to eat on their own or drink water yet!
That's when Music City Animal Rescue stepped in and welcomed all three babies into our program.
Sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, their precious little sister Hope didn't survive. But Henry and Heaven proved to be little fighters! With lots of love, patience, and care, these two have absolutely THRIVED!
And now, handsome little Henry is ready to find a forever family of his very own!
A LITTLE ABOUT HENRY:
Henry is approximately 5 months old and weighs around 16 pounds. We estimate that he'll weigh approximately 35 pounds when fully grown, making him a wonderful medium-sized companion!
We believe Henry may be a Labrador Retriever mix, possibly with a little Husky in his family tree. Whatever his breed combination, one look into those gorgeous hazel eyes and you'll be completely smitten!
But Henry isn't just a pretty face!
This little guy is SMART, CURIOUS, AFFECTIONATE, and SO EAGER TO PLEASE!
Henry loves exploring his surroundings and checking out everything going on around him. He's a curious little fellow who wants to know what you're doing, where you're going, and whether he can tag along!
One of Henry's most endearing qualities is how much he wants to make his people happy.
In fact, Henry will sit for you just because he wants to please you — not because he's expecting a treat! He's simply that sweet!
You can almost see him thinking, "Was that good? Did I make you happy?"
With his attentive personality and eagerness to learn, Henry has the makings of a wonderful companion for a family willing to continue teaching him and helping him grow.
HENRY'S FAVORITE THINGS:
OTHER DOGS: Henry loves playing with his sister Heaven and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes!
CATS: This sweet boy does well with feline friends, too!
CHILDREN: Henry and Heaven absolutely LOVE kids! He would be thrilled to have little humans to play with and love.
EXPLORING: Henry is naturally curious and enjoys discovering new things. Every day brings another adventure!
MAKING YOU HAPPY: Henry is eager to please and loves showing you what a good boy he can be!
RUNNING & PLAYING: Like any happy puppy, Henry enjoys romping, chasing, and having a wonderful time!
PUPPY NAPS: After a busy play session, Henry is ready to stretch out and recharge those puppy batteries. But don't worry — it won't be long before he's up and ready for another round of fun!
And when playtime is over, Henry is more than happy to settle in for some love and affection.

It's hard to imagine that this happy, trusting little boy was once a helpless puppy, abandoned in an empty office without even the basic necessities to survive.
He lost his mama far too soon, and he lost his precious little sister Hope.
But Henry hasn't lost his ability to trust, love, or find joy in the world around him.
Instead, he's grown into a delightful little boy who greets life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a heart full of love.
Henry doesn't need fancy toys or expensive treats to make him happy. What he really wants is someone to love, someone to learn from, and someone who will tell him what a GOOD BOY he is!
And we have a feeling he'll spend every day trying to prove just how good he can be.
Henry is ready for a lifetime of adventures, puppy kisses, playtime, and unconditional love.
