DESCRIPTION
Hootie is a young guy still trying to figure things out. He's a petite mixed breed dog that we believe will remain under 50lbs. He really appreciates all the TLC he gets from our volunteer group, a head start towards adoption!
If you have room in your heart and home for an active and curious puppy, then Hootie is the guy for you! He will do best with a family that will provide basic obedience training paired with 60 minutes of exercise daily. Apply today to meet Hootie!
Our adoption fees help guarantee that all of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Lyme, and Bordetella. We also ensure that our pets are microchipped and checked for heartworm disease prior to adoption.
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
