These sweet 5-year-old Labrador Retrievers have spent their entire lives side by side. Through every walk, every nap, every adventure, and every season of life, theyve only ever known the comfort of having each other.

Then one day, everything changed.

Their family made the decision to surrender them due to lack of time, and they arrived at the shelter wearing matching holiday collars. Confused and scared, they not only lost the only home theyd ever known—they nearly lost each other, too.

We promised that wouldnt happen.

Simba and Tinkerbell are the kind of dogs who make you fall in love with Labs. Theyre gentle, affectionate, well-mannered, and happiest simply being with their people. They love going swimming in our back yard pool, leisurely walks, naps in the sun, belly rubs, and quietly following you from room to room. They are obsessed with children.

But their favorite place has always been next to each other.

Watching them is a reminder that love doesnt always need words. They check on one another, wait for each other, and curl up together every chance they get. Their bond is beautiful, and after everything theyve been through, we cant imagine asking them to start over alone.
