DESCRIPTION
Rocky is a 10 week old Labrador Retriever mix. He and his littermates (Sergeant, Eleanor, Rita, Prudence, and Penny) spent 12 long days at a city shelter. Shelter life is tough on such young puppies, and they came to Humane Tomorrow underweight, missing some hair, and scared!
Now they are being cared for by our wonderful Humane Tomorrow volunteers, getting lots of TLC, vet care, soothing baths, nutritious food, and lots of toys and play time. In a very short time, they have forgotten their scary shelter life and are loving the care and attention they are receiving.
You can meet this litter on Saturday 8/15 from 11 am - 1 pm at our faciity located at 1961 E Hickory Hill Rd in Argyle. All are welcome to come for a visit, but please submit your application online if you are interested in adopting.

ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
