If you're looking for a best friend with the sweetest soul, let us introduce you to Evie.

At just over a year old, Evie has already raised a litter of puppies, and now it's finally her turn to find the loving family she deserves.

Evie is the definition of gentle. She's calm, affectionate, incredibly quiet, and happiest when she's close to her people. While she enjoys a good crinkly toy and will happily entertain herself by tossing it around, what she really wants is simple: endless head scratches, belly rubs, and someone to love. If you stop to play with her, don't be surprised when she gently places a paw on your leg asking for more pets instead.

She has wonderful house manners—she's completely house-trained and has never had an accident in her foster home. She happily naps in her crate throughout the day, but if you're looking for a cuddle buddy at night, she'll gladly curl up beside you.

Evie gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children, making her an easy addition to many families. She would especially thrive with another friendly dog to help build her confidence and give her a playmate. She's still learning that the world is a safe place and can be a little nervous on a leash, so a securely fenced yard and a family with a predictable routine would help her continue to blossom.

She's a gorgeous black Lab mix with long legs, a lean build, and the cutest little details—a bright white star on her chest, tiny white "socks" on her toes, and adorable white speckles across her face that make her impossible not to smile at.

Evie doesn't ask for much. She just wants a safe home, kind people, and someone who will love her as much as she'll love them.

After spending the beginning of her life raising puppies, it's finally Evie's turn to be someone's baby.
