DESCRIPTION

Dolly Has the Beauty and Grace of the Legend Herself

With her soulful eyes, playful spirit, and endless affection, this beautiful 2-year old, 56-pound silver Lab has a way of making everyone she meets fall just a little bit in love. Whether you call her Dolly, Miss Dolly, Dolly Pawton, or simply "sweet girl," she'll happily answer with a wagging tail and a smile.

Just like her name, Miss Dolly is full of heart, charm, and a personality that's impossible to forget. She's spayed, up to date on all her vaccinations, and ready to find the forever family she's been waiting for. Dolly is the perfect mix of playful adventurer and affectionate cuddle bug. She's looking for an active family that will let her run, play, and then curl up beside them at the end of the day.

Miss Dolly is wonderfully smart and eager to learn. She already knows sit, shake, outside/potty, up, off, and out, and she's quickly picking up new commands like leave it and run. She's house trained, crate trained, and has made her crate into her own cozy retreat, often choosing to relax there even with the door open.
One of Dolly's favorite jobs is being your shadow. If you're home, chances are she'll be right beside you, hoping for a cuddle or simply keeping you company. She loves people and has become quite the little celebrity wherever she goes. At farmers markets and yard sales, she's calm, friendly, and happy to soak up all the excitement. Strangers can't help but stop to admire how beautiful she isand she's even earned more than a few free treats just for being herself! On one outing, she found a stuffed toy she absolutely adored, carried it proudly all the way home, and it's been one of her favorite treasures ever since.

When it's time to play, Dolly is all in. She loves fetch, balls, sticks, toys, and a good bone to chew on. Water might just be her favorite thing in the worldsprinklers, kiddie pools, the hose, and even playing in the rain will have her grinning from ear to ear. She'll happily chase butterflies, birds, and lightning bugs around the yard before showing off her adorable sploots and hilarious sleeping positions once she's worn herself out.

Miss Dolly would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely burn off her puppy energy. She's athletic, can jump surprisingly high, and would likely excel at agility or other fun activities. She walks nicely with a Gentle Leader and continues to improve her leash manners every day.

She's done wonderfully in busy environments, enjoys meeting new people, and is respectful around other dogs in public. While she's still learning her one-on-one dog manners, she's making great progress. She would do best in a home without cats, as she enjoys chasing them, and because of her enthusiasm and size, she'd be happiest with older children who can keep up with her joyful greetings.

Miss Dolly isn't looking for fame she's looking for her forever stage. She's searching for the people she'll follow from room to room, greet with joyful zoomies, and love with her whole heart. If your family has room for an affectionate, playful best friend, Miss Dolly is ready to take center stage in your heart.

Miss Dolly is currently being fostered in Indianapolis, IN, and she's ready to steal the spotlight and your heart in her forever home.
