Layla - Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog Available for Adoption in Houston, Texas
LAYLA
Labrador Retriever, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Houston, Texas
May 12th
female, medium, baby
DESCRIPTION
Layla was found as a stray in a very rural area outside of Houston, TX. She was with several dogs when she was rescued by a Good Samaritan. She was skinny and full of fleas. She is now the weight she should be and has been vaccinated and is doing amazing. She loves to play but also is just as happy being a couch potato. She is definitely ready for a home to call her own. Because she was a stray, she tends to value her food and will need to be fed separately if she has 4 legged siblings. But that is not something that would be a problem. Because she is young, she has not been spayed, but it will be considered at the time of adoption.
Layla is currently in the Houston, TX area however transport can be arranged. A portion of her adoption fee will include the transport fee.
If you would like to learn more about Layla, please text me, 281-608-2368. I would love to tell you about her.
ABOUT: LABRADOR RETRIEVER DOG BREED
The Labrador Retriever is a popular and versatile dog breed known for its friendly demeanor and high intelligence. These dogs are often used as guide dogs for the visually impaired, search and rescue dogs, and excellent family pets. Labradors are known for their great sense of smell, strong build, and love of water, making them exceptional hunters and swimmers. With their loyal and loving nature, Labradors have rightfully earned their reputation as one of the most beloved dog breeds in the world.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
