Cashew - mixed nut litter - Labrador Retriever and Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler Dog for Adoption in Horn Lake, Mississippi

Meet Cashew: Cashew is about a 12 week old (as of October 15, 2026) lab / heeler mix (best guess) that weighs 15 pounds. This adorable litter of mixed nuts (Hazelnut, Macadamia, Pistachio, Cashew, Almond, Chestnut, Peanut and Walnut) was unexpected surprise for the parents owners. These loved pups were surrendered to our rescue, but the owners are keeping mom and dad and have appointments already set to have them spayed and neutered to avoid this happening again! We are thankful that these cuties will have the opportunity for a great life ahead. Cashew is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families!

Cashew and her littermates are all very, very sweet and friendly pups! Cashew is loving and affectionate, and is full of playful, puppy energy. Cashew has been great with all people, including children, and has gotten along wonderfully with all of the other dogs she has been around.

Cashew is working on house training, but as a young puppy, she will need some patience while she continues to work on the process. We would love for Cashew to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely as she grows - playing outside is one of her favorite pastimes. Cashew is crate trained and working on her leash walking skills. Cashew is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate.
