From a Rough Start to a Fresh Start
These seven little survivors have quite a story.
Their mama was a stray living in a trailer park in a very poor, rural area. She originally gave birth to 13 puppies, but sadly, by the time rescuers were able to reach them, only seven remained. What happened to the other six is unknown, but because of the rural area, it’s possible that hawks or other birds of prey may have taken them.
One of the surviving puppies, Capri, appears to have scars that may be from talons and also suffered an injury that left her with part of her tail missing. Thankfully, she has healed beautifully, her fur has grown back, and she’ll simply have an adorable little short tail as part of what makes her special.
Their estimated DOB is 6/25/26, and after everything they’ve been through, these babies are finally ready to travel and begin the next chapter of their lives.
They may have started life as unwanted puppies born to a stray mama, but their story doesn’t have to end that way. Now they each have the chance to grow up knowing what it means to be safe, spoiled, and loved.
Seven puppies. Seven fresh starts. Seven forever families waiting to find them.
Could one of them be yours?
