Meet Rory Poppy a one year old Lab mix who is ready to find her forever family.

Rory absolutely adores other dogs. She loves to steal toys, wrestle, play, and even snuggle with her four-legged friends. She would thrive in a home with a friendly, playful dog who can show her the ropes and be her best buddy.

Rory is still learning that humans can be trusted, so she can be slow to warm up. She has shown a special preference for male human companions but with patience and time, she is continuing to build confidence around people in general. Her future family will need to give her the space and patience to form relationships at her own pace.

She **loves her crate** and happily heads in at bedtime, making nighttime a breeze. She’s also learning how to walk on a leash and has discovered that puddles are meant for hopping in.

Rory would love a fenced-in yard where she can sniff the grass, explore, and inspect every single piece of mulch like it’s her very important job.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
