Stevie Honey Bear - Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd Dog Dog for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

Stevie is a 1-month-old black Lab and Shepherd mix and puppy #4 of 10 adorable puppies in his litter. He’s a sweet boy with a gentle spirit, and he has a little bit of magic in his coat. Look closely, and you’ll see his fur has a honey-colored glow, as if a ray of sunshine is shining right on his head. That’s how he earned the name Honey Bear.

Stevie has a lot of classic black Lab features, while some of his siblings are looking more Shepherd. Who knows which features will come through as he grows? It will certainly be the most adorable result, no doubt, and part of the fun will be watching it unfold. With a Lab and Shepherd mix, his future family can look forward to a smart, loyal companion, whatever he ends up looking like.

He’s independent in his play, happy to explore and entertain himself, but he loves to join in on the fun when his siblings get going. He’s growing up surrounded by nine brothers and sisters, so he’s getting wonderful early socialization, and it shows in his sweet, easygoing nature. A home with another playful dog could be a great fit, and lots of playtime and exercise as he grows are suggested to keep that bright mind and growing body happy.

Stevie is looking for a family with plenty of love, room to play, and a lap for cuddles. Could that be you?
