DESCRIPTION

Bruno Baby has one of those faces that practically begs you to come over and squish his cheeks... and once you do, it's game over. He's ridiculously sweet, loves being close to his people, and somehow makes cuddling look like a full-time job. Sure, he enjoys all the normal puppy things like treats, toys, and learning new stuff, but if Bruno got to choose how every day ended, he'd probably vote for everybody piling onto the couch together.

Watch his video and prepare to fall in love with this squishy sweetheart:

Bruno is believed to be approximately 6 months old and currently weighs around 43 pounds. As with any rescue puppy, his exact breed is always a mystery, but our best guess is he's a Pittie mix. Whatever combination created him also gave him one of the sweetest personalities we've had the pleasure of getting to know.

One of the first things you'll notice about Bruno is just how easy he is to be around. He's fostered in a home with young children, and his foster says he's the definition of a family dog. He's calm in the house, loves being wherever his people are, and if there's an open spot on the couch, there's a pretty good chance Bruno is going to claim it. He has such a gentle, affectionate personality and genuinely seems happiest when he's simply hanging out with the people he loves. Whether you're watching TV, helping the kids with homework, or just relaxing after a long day, Bruno is more than happy to be your cuddle buddy.

Bruno is also fostered in a home with twelve other dogs and horses, so he's used to a busy household with lots going on. One thing we've learned about Bruno is that he's still figuring out how to navigate relationships with other larger dogs outside of his fosters home. Because of that, we're looking for a family that understands the importance of continuing his training and setting him up for success. Bruno has shown us that he does best with calm, confident, socially appropriate dogs. He was naturally more relaxed around smaller dogs and was happy to peacefully coexist with them, and he doesn't need another dog in the home to be happy. We think Bruno could absolutely thrive as an only dog where he gets to soak up all the love and attention, or with the right easygoing canine companion and a family that's committed to thoughtful introductions and continued guidance.

Bruno also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also seemed to feel comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know!
With people, though, Bruno is nothing but sweetness. He may take a minute to check someone out when they first meet, but it doesn't take long before he's happily leaning in for pets and reminding everyone why Pitties have such a devoted fan club. He's incredibly affectionate, loves to cuddle, and has that wonderfully soft, squishy personality that makes it impossible not to fall in love with him.

Bruno is already off to a fantastic start with his training. He's crate trained, potty trained, knows how to kennel up, already knows "sit," and is currently working on his leash skills. He absolutely loves treats, takes them gently every single time, and is eager to learn, making him a fun puppy to continue training. Because Bruno is still growing into the amazing dog he's going to become, we're looking for a family that can provide him with continued structure, consistency, and leadership as he matures. We don't think apartment living would be the best fit for him, and instead we'd love to see him in a home where he has space to stretch his legs, continue building confidence, and enjoy life with his family.

Bruno is one of those puppies that's going to make someone feel incredibly lucky. He's sweet, affectionate, goofy in all the best ways, and has enough squish to make every cuddle better than the last. With the right family that's excited to continue helping him grow into his best self, we know Bruno has all the potential to become an incredibly loyal, loving companion for years to come.

We are willing to test Bruno Baby with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
