Betty White Sprinkle - Labrador Retriever and Pointer Dog for Adoption in Friendswood, Texas

Betty White Sprinkles believes affection should be a full-body experience. A belly rub is lovely, a booty scratch is excellent, and if she can wiggle her way into a little more of either, she absolutely will. With her sweet cream-colored face and playful personality, Betty brings a little extra happy to the everyday.

Go watch Betty on the Three Little Pitties Rescue YouTube channel to see her wiggles in action and meet the little lady who considers belly rubs a perfectly reasonable afternoon plan: https://youtu.be/W-k48Tn6ohk

Betty is fostered in a loving home with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages, where she gets plenty of practice being part of the crew. She has a fun, playful side and enjoys having friends to share it with. During her visit with us, dogs closer to her own size brought out her playful personality most easily. With bigger new friends, she took a little time to get acquainted, offering polite greetings and lovely dog manners along the way.

People are another favorite. Betty may take a moment to get her bearings somewhere new, but affection is a very good introduction. Before long, she’s soaking up attention and rolling over to make sure everyone knows where the belly rubs go. She has also spent time around children and has been polite and playful with them—a sweet little companion for a family ready to enjoy her youthful energy.

And there are brains behind that cute face! Betty already knows “sit,” and treats make an excellent case for learning something new. She would be such a fun girl to teach, whether you’re practicing everyday manners or adding a few tricks to her repertoire. Short training sessions, some playtime, and a good scratch afterward sound like a pretty satisfying schedule.

She rides nicely in the car, too, so she’s happy to join you when the day’s plans involve going somewhere together. Betty could enjoy life with another compatible dog or as your one-and-only, with plenty of opportunities for play, learning, and attention. An apartment could also be a good fit with regular outings and room in your routine for an active young dog.

When Betty met our house cat, she saw a potential playmate and enthusiastically tried to join the fun—including following him up onto a counter! Her invitation may be more than some cats want to accept. A feline home would need further consideration, and we can arrange an overnight with our Kitty Committee to learn more about how she settles around cats in a home setting.

We estimate Betty is somewhere between six months and a year old, and our best breed guess is a Labrador Retriever mix. She has plenty of puppy-like enthusiasm, though we suspect she may be closer to her adult size than her baby face suggests. Her age, breed, and eventual size are all our best guesses—rescue likes to leave a little room for surprise.

Betty has such a lovable combination of playful energy, a willing little brain, and a wholehearted appreciation for being loved on. She’s ready for someone to teach her a few things, take her along for the ride, and remember that a proper booty scratch should never be rushed.
