Joni needs one more vaccination before she is adoption-ready. We expect that to happen on Thursday, 10-1, so she will be ready to meet you at one of our adoption events over the weekend.

Meet Joni, a stunning little Lab mix puppy with the most beautiful, unique brindle coloring and a heart that's every bit as special as she is.

At such a young age, life has already been tougher than it ever should be for a puppy. But Joni's story is changing. She's now on the road to something wonderful-a safe, loving home and a family of her very own.

Joni is warm, cuddly, playful and simply fun to be around. She has that wonderful puppy sweetness that makes you want to scoop her up for a cuddle, followed closely by the silly, happy energy that keeps you smiling.

Her past may have been difficult, but Joni is looking forward now. She's ready for soft beds, belly rubs, adventures, toys and, most of all, people who will love her for the rest of her life.
