-KNOWN WITH CATS: Chance has met cats at the Farm and we think he will need someone who is familiar with dog and cat intros. He was very excited and will need to learn how to greet them properly.

-KNOWN WITH KIDS: Chance has met kids and loved them- we would suggest older kids- over 10

-KNOWN CUES: Chance is super smart and knows sit, down, crawl, wait, recall, stay + come and is working on paw/shake

-KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Chance is crate and house trained

-KNOWN LIKES: Playing, Training, Walks, People, Dogs

-KNOWN DISLIKES: None

ABOUT THIS ANIMAL:

Chance is the total package-goofy, affectionate, playful, and overflowing with love. This handsome boy is always ready for an adventure, a game of fetch, or a cuddle session on the couch. His joyful personality and zest for life make him impossible not to love.

Like many young rescue dogs, Chance is still learning his manners. When he's excited, especially around new people or when several visitors arrive at once, he can become jumpy and a little mouthy. His foster family is helping him work on these behaviors, and he is making progress every day. Once Chance gets to know someone, they're a friend for life, and his sweet, loyal nature shines through.

On walks, Chance generally does well on leash, but squirrels and other dogs can be very exciting distractions. He may pull to investigate, so he'll benefit from continued training and consistency. The good news is that Chance is smart, eager to learn, and highly motivated to please his people.

Don't let his silly energy fool you-this boy has a soft side too. Chance absolutely loves cuddling and is convinced he's a lap dog. If you sit down, don't be surprised if he stretches across your legs, leans against your feet, or curls up right beside you for snuggles. After playtime, nothing makes him happier than relaxing with his favorite humans.

Chance loves toys of all kinds, especially balls, Kongs, rawhides, and anything he can happily chew. He's house-trained, sleeps quietly in his kennel at night, and already knows commands such as "sit," "lay down," "leave it," and sometimes even "stay."

Chance may bark if he hears noises outside, but he settles quickly and looks to his people for reassurance. He thrives with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement, and he'll do best with a family committed to continuing his training and helping him build confidence.

With his lovable personality, adorable looks, endless affection, and goofy charm, Chance is ready to bring laughter, companionship, and unconditional love to his forever home. All he needs now is a family willing to give him the happy ending he deserves.
