Meet Charley: equal parts Chocolate Lab, Dachshund, and 100% pure, goofy chaos wrapped in a sleek, low-riding package.
Charley is a total lovebug who hasn't quite realized how long his body is or that personal space is a construct. If you’re sitting down, he will attempt to sit on your lap. He’s sweet, delightfully goofy, and working hard on his house manners—though he still believes every visitor is a VIP guest attending a party specifically thrown in his honor.

The Great Houdini (Low-Rider Edition)
Got baby gates? Charlie views them not as barriers, but as interactive puzzle games designed for his personal entertainment. With the brain of an inquisitive Lab and the ground clearance of a sausage, he is a certified escape artist. The twist? He doesn't actually want to go anywhere. Once he breaks through, he just trots into the room you're in, wiggles his entire body, and looks at you like, "Surprise! I bypassed security so you could pet me!"

Food, Glorious Food
Charlie didn't have the easiest start in life, and growing up without enough food left him a bit protective of his bowl. Sometimes he gets a little territorial when it's mealtime, but he’s making incredible progress every day. He is learning that his bowl will always be full, his belly will always be happy, and he never has to worry about going hungry again. A calm mealtime routine and a little gentle structure are all he needs to keep feeling safe.

If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate companion who will make you laugh daily and give you the sweetest "thank you" eyes for every meal, Charlie is ready to prance his way right into your heart!
