Big paws, big personality, and an even bigger heart! Meet Niko!

Niko is a 16-week-old bundle of Lab sweetness who is still figuring out how to coordinate those GIANT puppy paws. He’s playful, curious, affectionate, and completely convinced he’s a lap dog—and we’re not going to be the ones to tell him otherwise.

This sweet boy LOVES his people and will happily climb into your lap for snuggles whenever he gets the chance. Squeaky toys are his absolute favorite, and he also loves spending time outside sniffing, exploring, and soaking up the sunshine.

Niko is already showing what a smart boy he is! He knows his name, sit and no, is learning to walk on a leash, and sleeps through the night in his crate like a champ. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s off to a great start.

He’s doing wonderfully with other dogs—even sharing his foster home with a somewhat grumpy dachshund! He was also gentle and sweet with a visiting 5-year-old. He hasn’t met any cats yet.

Niko has all the makings of a wonderful Lab: loyal, loving, eager to please, and ready to be someone’s best friend for life. He just needs a family to love him while he grows into those enormous feet. Could Niko be your boy?
