Cupid - Labrador Retriever and American Staffordshire Terrier Dog for Adoption in Chattanooga, Tennessee

We have all fallen in love with Cupid. He is a 3 year old Lab/Staffie mix (we're guessing) that weighs about 70 pounds.

He was originally taken in by Murray County Animal Shelter after a welfare check found him to have a badly embedded collar. It was metal and twisted to tightly it was affecting his breathing and he had to be rushed to a hardward store to remove it with bolt cutters.

His wounds were deep but they are healing well. He is SO sweet with everyone and will climb his big body into your lap or nuzzle his head into your neck. He is just so grateful for the attention he is getting and can't seem to get enough. He gets along great with dogs of all sizes and even cats.


We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
