PRINCE - Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Charlotte, North Carolina

PLEASE CONTACT MY FOSTER AT: ( mandleysamara@gmail.com ) Prince went out for a foster family hike to Crowders Mountain with our own dog. He is a total PRINCE! Prince was energetic at the start of the walk and pulled a bit on the leash, but it was very manageable. He quickly calmed down after we hiked uphill for about 10 min. He has the sweetest little prance and loves everyone and everything. He was not the least bit phased by joggers, kids, cars, other dogs (even ones that barked at him), busy trails, mountainous terrain. Some of the uphill hiking was on narrow trails and he did not mind sharing his space with anyone. He always approached everything with positive happy body language. He does sometimes jump when he’s excited to say hi to someone, so keep that in mind. Probably a very easy fix though. He loves attention and has a super cute head tilt. Treats are his favorite and he’s eager to learn and he picks things up quickly. We were able to walk him on a long retractable lead and he would come right back to us when we whistled and called him (all rewarded with treats). He also knows “sit” very well. He shared water and treats well with our dog and he takes treats gently. He was a perfect gentleman! We had Prince out for about 3 hours and I asked everyone in the family for a short description of Prince and this is what I got: “Happy boy”, “Perfect family dog”, Easygoing”, “Goofy like a lab” and “Joyful” He’s the whole package and would fit in perfectly with an active owner(s) or a family.“
