EMERGENCY FOSTER NEEDED FOR COLE

After everything this boy has been through, we desperately do not want Cole's next stop to be boarding.

Cole's foster needs to leave to be with her mother during a very difficult health situation. We completely understand—family comes first—and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done to help Cole learn what it means to feel safe.

But now Cole needs someone else to say YES.

If you've ever thought about fostering but worried you might get a difficult dog for your first foster... Cole might be the one you've been waiting for.

His foster describes him as gentle, sweet and a BIG couch potato.

That last one gets us. Cole has started picking up toys and carrying them around in his mouth...he just hasn't quite figured out what he's supposed to do with them yet.

This is the same dog who survived on the streets for somewhere around two years, afraid to let humans get close.

He finally has a roof over his head.
A kennel he knows is his safe place.
People he trusts.
Toys to discover.
And a place where he can finally relax.

Please help us keep it that way.

Cole is also undergoing care for heartworms, so keeping him in a calm home environment is especially important.

If you have ever considered fostering, this is your sign. Cole doesn't need anything fancy. He needs a safe home, some belly rubs and someone willing to let this sweet couch potato continue discovering what being a family dog is all about.
