Joe may be 2, but his sweet face, expressive ears, and youthful charm make him look like a giant puppy!

Joe bonds closely with his people and loves being by his favorite human’s side. He’s a loyal, affectionate companion who simply wants to be where you are. He also has a playful streak and may turn heading back to his kennel into a quick game of keep-away. A little patience—and maybe a treat—usually convinces him that the fun is over.

With his affectionate nature, strong connection with people, and gentle personality, Joe could be a wonderful candidate for therapy dog work with continued training and socialization.

Joe would love a home with someone who enjoys an engaged, loving dog with plenty of personality. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend with a forever-puppy face, Joe is ready to meet you!

House breaking and potty training cannot be guaranteed: While a dog may be observed as housebroken, we cannot guarantee that accidents won’t occur during the transition to a new home. To ensure a smooth adjustment, we recommend establishing a consistent potty training routine to help create new habits and support their successful integration.

Please remember that all listed breeds are only our best guess based on appearance, traits, and behavior. Unless a dog has confirmed pedigree or DNA testing, we cannot guarantee breed makeup.

Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $650, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $550, 7+ years are a minimum $450 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.

This pup is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $650 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
