Meet Birch Evergreen, an approx. 8-and-a-half-week-old Lab mix, weighing approx. 11.6 pounds (as of 6/30/26). The EVERGREEN litter and Lily Momma Evergreen were surrendered by their owners after police intervened for neglect. They had a rough beginning, but are excited to have their happy ending with the best family in the world: yours! Birch couldn't wait to see you, he wrote his own bio:

"Good day! My name is Birch but my government name is actually Bertram! I'm an energetic boy who loves to play with toys but I also dabble in music in my spare time. I do hope you have a grand piano or a giant harp in your home. Oh, you don't? Well, I guess a baby piano will do. When I'm not pondering on the mysteries of the universe, you can find me cuddling up to my favorite people and giving you lots of kisses.

I'm super friendly and love meeting strangers. I haven't met cats but I have met kids and am doing great with them. I'm not a fan of being alone, so it may take me some time to adjust. I hope you work from home! I also know commands like "sit" and "come." As I grow, I'll be looking for a family who can help me with all things puppy training: potty, leashes (I'm doing well!), crates (also doing well), etc. In return, I'll give you piano lessons! Full price of course.

My mom is about 65 pounds and my dad is as mysterious as the dark side of the moon, so I assume I might be around Mom's size when grown. I can't wait to meet you!"

The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application. Great Dog is not a shelter so there is no building you can visit. Our dogs live in private foster homes until adopted.
